Bella serata. -

Nothing special, but still a cozy pub to go when you and your flatmates don't want to drink in front of the tv.
Serves thai food in the evening. Nothing special too... -

A cena serve piatti thai, anch'essi poco memorabili. -

They let me in when the shop was half-closed already and turned the photocopier on again. Nicest people ever.

I thought this shop is just like children’s shops shoud be.
All wooden toys that kids can try and play around with without breaking them and a warm vintage atmosphere. I found an adorable cow puppet for my friend’s little one.
Their toys and clothes seem to be only for small children though, it would be nice if they had something for older kids too. -

A nice choice for breakfast, brunch or lunch, when you’re hungry for food not for fat. Everithing looks very lean yet tasty. The menu includes breakfast classics, grilled ciabattas, burgers (not the best option), smoothies and hetbal teas.
Free wi-fi, and you can stay as long as you want. -

I’m glad the Cinnamon Lounge has opened near where I live. Everything we ordered was good and the dishes actually tasted different, really home made.
The service is definitely less good. They try hard to be classy but they get it all wrong. The waiter asked way too often if everything was alright, he removed the tablecloth while making us hold the glasses and bottles and he handed me a hot towel while I still had a piece of naan bread in my hand.
Next time I’ll choose take away. -

La Belle Epoque looks, smells and feels so French that I almost felt uncomfortable for ordering in English.
The front is all small and cute and there are those lovely seats in the back garden. The service is ok, they have a touch of rudeness that makes the experience more authentic, you know, like real people instead of corporations etc.
I’ve been there twice: the first time I had a dark chocolate and raspeberry mini-cake that looked like heaven but tasted only like sugar, a little disappointing.
But then I went back to try the pain au chocolat and all is forgiven.
I think I want one right now. -

This fish&chips shop was the only place open in Newington Green at 00.00 on a Thursday, so last night I felt irresistibly attracted by it.
The fish was really good, just made, fresh and everything, the chips were average.
One weird thing: The owner gave me the salt and told me to put it on the chips myself! (well, I might have been a bit of an annoying customer last night)
