Il profilo di dagaz

This place opened only a few weeks ago and it’s probably the best Indian restaurant in all of Vienna. At least, it’s the best of the 15 or so I’ve tried out so far.

Anyway, I’m not going to test any other places any more, it being all too likely that I’d be disappointed.

Mirchi is run by a couple in their 30s, he cooks and she does the service. Go there now, in a year or so you may have to reserve a table a few weeks in advance.

Das Restaurant hat vor kurzem eröffnet und ist der vermutlich beste Inder in Wien, zumindest der beste von den etwa 15, die ich bis jetzt ausprobiert habe. (Vier davon liegen übrigens im Umkreis von maximal 15 Gehminuten. Die sehen mich alle nie wieder!)

Leider ist der Standort für Lokale eher ungünstig. An dieser Stelle haben, seit ich hier wohne (März 2003), acht Lokale zugesperrt. Diesen Inder will ich aber unbedingt behalten! Also schaut mal rein, you’ll be back! Und in einem Jahr werdet ihr reservieren müssen.

echt tolles geschäft! und demnächst solls noch schwerter aus einer waldviertler schmiede und handgeschnitzte stäbe geben.
